Come & Visit
Whether you’re a visitor in the area, or just someone thinking through the Christian faith, we’d love to welcome you to our services in Thurso, Castletown and Bettyhill.
Service Times
Our Sunday services take place weekly at the following times:
Thurso – 10.30am and 5.30pm
Castletown – 12pm
Bettyhill – 3pm
Everyone is welcome!
What to Expect
God and his word is at the centre of everything that happens at Thurso and North Coast Free Church, so during the services, He is the main focus, especially what he has done through his Son and our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Our services consists of a mix of singing, prayer, reading the Bible and preaching (a short talk, or ‘sermon’), where a Bible passage is opened up and explained, and its relevance to our lives in the 21st century made clear.
The service usually lasts for about 1 hour, during which you are free to sit and just observe. You don’t need to participate in the singing or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and you’re not required to make any kind of donation.
Bibles are available and the words for reading and singing will be displayed on the screens for everyone.
We join together for tea and coffee after the service.
Kids are welcome!
If you have children we are delighted to have them join us for the church services. We currently have a small number of children associated with the congregation, and run a creche, where required, but not yet a regular Sunday school.
